where is your office?

My office is located in Downtown Greensboro, North Carolina and is convenient to Winston Salem and Burlington.

do you do therapy online or in person?

I see clients in person and online. For in person sessions we’ll meet at my office in Downtown Greensboro, NC. If we meet online, we’ll meet through a HIPAA compliant platform (Zoom) for clients who are located in the state of North Carolina only.

what kind of training do you have?

I have been intensively trained (40-100+ hours in the modality) in Internal Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I also receive personal therapy on a regular basis and think all therapists should do this.

I graduated from a CACREP accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have a Master of Science and an Education Specialist Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina.

how long will therapy take?

Everyone’s path is different so there’s no way to know exactly what yours will look like before we’ve met and worked together on a treatment plan. Many of my clients achieve their goals within 1 year and others find that they want to continue past that, often at a reduced frequency of sessions (biweekly is most common). Weekly, 55 minute sessions don’t work for everybody due to scheduling, clinical needs, life responsibilities, etc. For those clients I offer therapy intensives.

how much will therapy cost?

My sessions rates are as follows:

Initial Session (90 minutes) - $220

60 minute session - $180

90 minute extended session - $270

I also offer Therapy Intensives which can be customized to individual needs.

do you take insurance?

I am an out of network provider for all insurance plans. I can accept cash, check, and all major credit cards in addition to HSA and FSA accounts. If requested, I can provide you with a Superbill (a fancy receipt) to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.
